The Association serves the needs of all sectors involved in on-shore drilling operations, including trenchless technology. The needs serviced include training, development of operations & safety manuals (which have been peer-reviewed), and assisting members in obtaining internationally recognised quality assurance certification.
The Association has many courses for its members & their clients, including environmental, high-pressure air, well screens & sieve analysis, use of drilling fluids, diamond core drilling, and an introduction to HDD. Introductory videos are also available to assist with induction & safety training of new recruits to the profession.
All the operations of the Association are designed to improve the professionalism of members, and give them a technical & operational advantage over non-members, no matter whether it be in the management or drilling skills area.
Unless specifically approved by the Board, training programs are available only to members of a recognised drilling industry association with reciprocal rights, either in Australia or overseas.
