Our company has an environmental air core system that allows solvent welded 50mm PVC to be installed through the rods, then gravel pack and cement grouting can be carried out through the rods as they are removed from the hole. Our air-core system has been designed and tested to cope with saturated sands and can be used as a pre-collar for tubing or casing up to 75mm O.D.
This same system is also suitable for geotechnical work where SPT and Shelby tube sampling is needed, with the ability to NQ core through the rods if needed. We have three small SONIC rigs (from heli-portable to 2.6 tonne) which provide a 70mm bagged core while running a 92 mm id casing. The larger of the sonic rigs is capable of drilling through limestone with a maximum depth of over 30 metres. We travel statewide. Quality Systems.
