1. Name. The name of the Association is the Australian Drilling Industry Association Limited [ABN 24 002 772 929] [“the Association”].
2. Liability of members.
The liability of the members is limited.
3. Definitions. In this Constitution:
Association: means the Australian Drilling Industry Association Limited.
Board: means the Board of Directors of the Association.
Branch Committee of Management Meeting: is a formal meeting of those Active Members [including Active Members who are also Life Members] who have been elected by the membership of the Branch to form the Branch Committee of Management.
Clause: means a clause of the Constitution
Dishonourable Conduct: includes:
[a] any conduct that demonstrates that the member is unfit to continue to be a member;
[b] any contravention by the member [whether by act or omission] of a provision of the Constitution;
[c] any contravention by the member [whether by act or omission] of a condition of membership to which the member is subject;
[d] using any false, misleading, revoked or cancelled licence, permit, certificate, diploma, membership, degree or testimonial, document or description in relation to himself or herself in the drilling industry; or
[e] any other improper or unethical conduct relating to the drilling industry.
Drilling Industry: means those groups of persons, firms and corporations which are involved in the drilling industry……
