Inflatable Packers International [“IPI”] are the world’s largest manufacturer of inflatable packers for the mining and groundwater industries. Our clients include leading resource, geotechnical, scientific, engineering, construction and drilling companies, worldwide. Most common applications are for permeability testing, hydrofracture, zonal isolation, well completion and grouting. Products are available for sale or rent, with custom made products to order. Common systems and spares are held as stock enabling short lead times for standard products.
IPI packers can work at pressures up to 12,000 psi with temperatures up to 150C (not concurrent) and are made from a range of suitable materials for the down hole conditions.
The 40 strong IPI team consists of qualified engineers, tradesmen and even a hydrologist. We have our own well equipped workshops complete with computerised lathes, autoclave and modern, purpose built packer build up machines. IPI is based and manufactures in Perth, Western Australia with 3 other sales offices (USA, Bulgaria and Chile) and agents in other countries.
