We are the world’s largest manufacturer of waterwell type inflatable packers.
IPI packers can work at pressures up to 12,000 psi with temperatures up to 150C (not concurrent) and are made from a range of suitable materials for the down hole conditions.
They are available for sale, some for rent. IPI also supply replacement parts and elements (bladders) as required. Our clients include many leading resource, geotechnical, scientific, engineering, construction and drilling companies, worldwide. As well as providing leading, industry standard, high specification packers, IPI also specialise in providing innovative solutions for difficult and unusual problems.
The 30 strong IPI team consists of qualified engineers, tradesmen and even a hydrologist. We have our own well equipped workshops complete with computerised lathes, autoclave and modern, purpose built packer build up machines. IPI is based and manufactures in Perth, Australia with 2 other sales offices (USA and Chile) and agents in other countries. Languages spoken include Afrikaans, Arabic, Bulgarian, French, Russian Spanish and German.
