The Australian Drilling Industry Association (ADIA) is the peak body representing the drilling industry nationally. Our membership is made up of individuals and companies committed to improving the skills, safety, and overall professionalism of the drilling industry. We are the voice of our members, providing collective representation on matters that affect them and their businesses.
JOIN ADIA TODAY:
- ADIA provides industry activities, networking events and opportunities, and other services to connect our members with each other and their clients. We host industry functions, both formal and informal, to join with industry bodies to disseminate information to our members. Through regular digital and print communications, we aim to connect the drilling industry nationally and, as best as possible, internationally.
- ADIA is passionate about training and upskilling. We provide needs-based training through online and face-to-face courses and seminars, all run by industry experts with years of experience in the industry. We also supply industry recognised reference material including the Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores, The Drilling Manual and other print and online resources for the benefit of our members. Our goal is to lead by example in training to improving safety standards and professionalism throughout the drilling industry.
- As the ‘voice of drilling’, ADIA partners with other similarly-minded organisations, including Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) and Queensland Resource Council (QRC), to form a united front from which to advocate for our industry. Many Australians fail to comprehend the vitality of the drilling industry to the future of Australia; therefore we are regularly looking for opportunities to provide education and promotion.
- ADIA is for members, by members. Our Board of Directors, who govern the association, is made up of experienced and knowledgeable members of the drilling industry who have a passion to see the industry thrive. Also, to boost professionalism by raising industry standards, we rely on broad sector engagement. We encourage regular feedback from our members on all services we provide as we believe the only way forward is as a united front.
