Sep 26, 2023

Toowoomba training courses spots are being snapped up fast!

We will be launching our updated Safe and Productive Use of High Pressure Air course which will run in conjunction with our usual Cement Grouting Training course in October at the Royal Toowoomba Showgrounds.

  • Cement course: 16-18 October
  • High pressure air course: 17-18 October.

The cement course will run in the Glenvale Room, while the high pressure air course will run next door in the Committee Room.

The comprehensive cement course will run over two days which includes an onsite practical. There is an optional third day where participants will conduct a group exercise creating a construction plan for a flowing artesian bore.

Attendance on the third day will be recognised by all state regulators and given merit towards obtaining a Class 3 drilling license.

The high pressure air course will be run over two days, where participants will gain knowledge in the safe and productive use of compressors and boosters.

This course will be useful for drilling supervisors and managers, drillers and trainees, and exploration geologists.

And, if you enrol on either the high pressure air course or cement grouting training course this entitles you to a discounted price to Drillfest.

Those attending a course will have the opportunity to purchase a day pass (not offered to general admissions) of $75 exclu GST for the Wednesday Sundowner dinner or Thursday day pass.

To ensure quality of outcome on the cement and high pressure air course the cement course will be capped at 20 attendees and 15 attendees for the high pressure air course.

Registration can be completed on our website here.
